Lady Hardmon-Grooms is a WNBA Assistant Coach with the New York Liberty. She formerly played with the Sacramento Monarchs with over 13 years of professional experience. In the WNBA, Grooms’ career points total over 1,000 and 500 in rebounds. She had helped her team advance to the playoffs with the Monarchs 5 times(1999-2004). The Monarchs won the Championship in 2005. She was also an All-American at the University of Georgia.
Wendell "SUGAR" Grooms is Lady's husband. He is an Atlanta Firefighter and EMT. He is passionate about teaching and inspiring today's youth through On The Court's basketball camps.
